Theme 2 - Sutton Scarsdale Hall Shoot A Taster - High Fashion Meets English Heritage

So with my model in tow on what turned out to be a dry but sunny day we headed off to Sutton Scarsdale Hall, below are just a few of the shots taken:

When I set out on this shoot my intention was to follow more along the lines of my research and shoot most of my images from the waist down, however this pose took my eye and so I had to capture it. I love the contrast of colour between the orange tights against the green foliage and that the wall to the left almost draws a line encouraging the eye to look towards the model.

I just had to get a shot like this, reminiscent of Horst P Horst but in almost a Chicago musical type of way with the barred gate like prison bars in the background.  The angle this shot is taken almost makes it look as though the model is waiting for the gate to be opened, while the edges of the gate and the vertical bars frame my model and the key features of this shot.  A modern and sexy but tasteful interpretation I feel.
