Best known for his time with Bob Marley and The Sex Pistols, Dennis Morris is a photography legend so having the opportunity to go and see his work and hear some of his stories of how he got into the industry and how it was hanging out with Marley was not to be missed.
I found his earlier work far more interesting, shots taken of Marley and The Sex Pistols are raw and have edge, while showing more depth about the person behind the fame, unlike his latter work.
His more recent reportage photography although interesting as far as his thoughts of how the shot would be composed, as well as the messages he now tries to portray in his images such as those taken in China do little for me. I find his latter work over processed in Photoshop and lacking realism.
